Project Engineer / Project Coordinator (Mechanical Engineer)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Coordination of all technical activities on assigned projects • Planning, scheduling, conducting and coordinating the project scope • Monitoring work for compliance to Client and Class standards, applicable codes and accepted engineering practices • Ensuring effective communication and coordination on assigned projects between Clients, all disciplines and all other project participants • Participating in Client/contractor meetings and resolving project issues. • Project schedules and forecasts. • Coordination and checking of final deliverables. • Project status reports and change orders. • Accountable for the successful completion of projects and quality of the project. • Continuously review the non-conformities identified during the safety audits and during random visits undertaken to sites and corrective action undertaken for the continual improvement of the Health, Safety and Environment Management System. • Monitor and develop supervisory skills in sub ordinates. • Training of site technicians for multiple skills. • Support site supervisors for material & equipment planning.

Experience & Skills:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in handling mechanical maintenance projects in the Marine, Oil & Gas industry. • Strong knowledge of manpower planning, scheduling, and execution of mechanical maintenance jobs (e.g., painting, blasting, etc.). • Experience in monitoring work progress, quality assurance, and documentation. • Proven ability to handle material & equipment planning, coordination, and project reporting. • Familiarity with site-level HR issue resolution. • Project Management Skills: Risk management, budget management, time management. • Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills. • Experience in painting , blasting jobs preferred.

Minimum Qualification:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. • Certification: Bgas, NACE certification will be preferred. • Languages: Fluent in English and Hindi. • License: Valid UAE driving license; must be proficient in driving a four-wheeler.
